Holden (right) also participated in the check presentation. At the event, Wells Fargo awarded a total of $5,000 in unsolicited contributions to local nonprofits as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to support the communities it serves.
Organizations receiving the grant money included: Hueneme High School, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme, South Oxnard Public Library, Oxnard Police Department and Harrington Elementary School.
More than 500 people, including several Oxnard City Councilmembers and community and business leaders, attended the grand opening celebration on June 9. The new Wells Fargo Centerpoint Mall banking store is located at 2831 Saviers Road. The store is open Monday through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
