Kelly Ventimiglia

Kelly’s life-long work has focused on supporting the needs of young people. Through education, employment, volunteering, mentoring, and as a concerned community member, she has been motivated to advocate for positive outcomes for youth and families.
Kelly has worked in the Boys & Girls Clubs Movement for over 10 years. She has worked in both Santa Barbara and Ventura County Clubs gaining hands on experience in many facets of the organization--Club Director, Development Director, Director of Operations, and interim C.E.O. In her current position, Kelly is responsible for Major Gift activities and Donor relations.
Kelly has served as a presenter and trainer for local BGC Clubs and for National, and participated in Area Council activities and National trainings. She has been successful in fund development, raising annual operating funds, capital funds for new construction and renovation, as well as endowment and special initiative campaigns. Prior to Boys & Girls Clubs, Kelly was the Director of Offsite Prevention Programs for at-risk youth at Girls Inc. of Santa Barbara. Before coming to Ventura County, she was the Project Director for the State of CA, Dept. of Social Services, Community Challenge Grant initiative aimed at teen pregnancy prevention in Riverside, CA. Additionally, Kelly has worked in Social Service agencies raising funds for youth and families in crisis.
Kelly is a member of AFP, (Association of Fundraising Professionals). She has served on nonprofit boards, and has been a member of Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves as treasurer for the Victoria Telephone Homeowners Association.
Kelly has learned a great deal from many courageous and determined young people. She believes passionately in the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs, and has experienced over and over again its positive impact on youth. She strongly believes that every community has the responsibility of ensuring youth are safe and have multiple avenues for success.
