Kara Brown joined the Boys & Girls Club in January of 2010. A native of Michigan, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, as well as a Master’s degree in International Relations/Development from Bond University in Australia. Prior to working with BGCOP, she worked on a number of microfinance and humanitarian aid projects throughout Africa and Southeast Asia.
Kara currently works with the Youth Empowerment Program as the Entrepreneurship Coordinator, a program that empowers students from low-income communities to recognize business opportunities and find their pathway to success, as well as coordinating the College Bound program.
